Changing Lanes CDL School was founded in 2020 after  the need was seen for truck drivers to provide goods to consumers, and help the community obtain not just jobs but careers. 

Changing Lanes is Changing Lives One CDL at a time in our Community.

Since we opened in 2020 below are the results:

STUDENT GRIEVANCES/COMPLAINTS


Changing Lanes CDL School is approved by Texas Workforce Solutions. School number S5762. All programs are approved by TWC.



If ever a student has a complaint concerning any staff or faculty members of First Line Truck Driving School LLC, the student is directed to first attempt resolution with the staff or faculty member directly who is at the source of the complaint. If this first attempt does not resolve the difficulty, then the complainant should proceed with the steps outlined below:

1. Contact the School Director, Delbert Crawford immediately for a resolution to the complaint.

3. Should this not satisfactorily resolve the complaint, the complainant may consider contacting the Texas Workforce Commission, which authorizes schools to operate in the state of Texas. The commission’s address and phone number is as follows:

Admission Requirements


Applicants must have:     Photocopies will not be accepted

  •  Valid driver's license
  • Birth certificate
  • Social security card.
  • High School Diploma or GED (if you do not have these, we will give you a standardize test in place of it)


First step is to apply online & make a down payment to reserve your spot. 


  • Weekday & Weeknight class start every other Monday.
  • Weekend class starts the 1st Saturday of each month.


After registration- Applicant will be sent to our approved clinic for DOT and Drug test.

  • Where are you located?

    Changing Lanes CDL School is located in the city of Pflugerville, TX, at 100 W Pflugerville Pkwy STE111, Pflugerville, TX 78660

  • When do classes start?

    Weekday & Weeknight classes start the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Monday of each month.


    Weekend classes start the 1st Saturday of every month. 

  • What are your new student requirements

    – Possess a valid Texas driver’s license and a social security number, and birth certificate. 


    If applicable: a green card and/or passport. 


    – Be able to pass a DOT physical exam and drug test by our approved clinic.


    - Must have High School Diploma or GED. If you do not have those; we will give you a standardize test in place of it. 


    - Must attend a Mandatory Orientation the first day of class. 



  • How do I enroll in your school?

    Your first step to attending our CDL training program is to pay your $2500 down payment to reserve your spot.  Upon payment you will be directed to a link that allows you to register and select your start date. 

  • What's your job assistance policy?

    Changing Lanes CDL School School LLC provides job placement assistance services to every student who wants it while enrolled in school as well as after graduation.


     No school can guarantee a student a job, but we do guarantee that we will use our best efforts to prepare and assist you.
